Very similar to work done on monocytes by Dr. Bruce Patterson, which migrate across BBB into brain as M1/M2 macrophages, releasing fibrin and fractalkine. Definitely a link here to pathogenesis. Using old viral strain in vaccines against new and emerging strains, is definite candidate for ADE.
